When Nozomi makes artworks, she gets inspiration from people, people's fashion, old fashion, movies and photographs... among other things. She likes to use Acrylic colors. "I love colors - colors give me energy. So, I make colorful illustrations." All handwriting, even blue outlines with Acrylic paint. Because Nozomi loves drawing by her own hand. And she loves natural colors by Acrylic colors; not with computers. With Nozomi's motives, she usually paint faces. She like people's faces, especially interested in Western People's. Uneven Face is interesting for drawing, for her, Asian. She also likes drawing a little bit inelegant things. Motives with themes from the 60's, 70's & 80's style. Old fashion is cool for her. The line between cool and lame is thin as a knife's edge. when Nozomi is making artworks, she is thinking "i want to represent a little old mood (not too stylish mood) on my artwork."
