Divisa is a limited edition photobook by Portuguese photographer Ana Moraes, author of Lisboa e Reação: pixação não é tag, capturing a visual journey between Rio de Janeiro and São Paulo. The publication brings together photographs taken between 2017 and 2024, revisiting her archive with fresh eyes and uncovering new meanings in familiar frames.

 

Originally intended to focus solely on 2024, Divisa expanded into a broader reflection on time and place, spanning seven years of travel, observation, and everyday life in Brazil. The book is literally split in two: one half dedicated to São Paulo, the other to Rio de Janeiro—cities that mark both a physical and emotional divide in the artist’s exploration.
