1983’s Wild Style, the film that immortalized the streets of the South Bronx and New York’s East Village arts scene forever, and gave the rest of the world its first look at breakdancing, graffiti, rapping and DJing, and nothing has been the same since.

 

BEYOND THE STREETS published Wild Style, a magazine, containing rare candid photos of the biggest names in late 70s/early 80s New York: Debbie Harry, Fab 5 Freddy, Grandmaster Caz, DONDI, Patti Astor, Frosty Freeze, RAMMELLZEE, ZEPHYR, Busy Bee, Fantastic Five, FUTURA2000, LADY PINK, as well as outtakes and ephemera from the film, videos and streets.
