Fifty artists from an array of different countries are showcased in this attractive volume that collects the international exhibition of fantasy works inspired by Dante's The Divine Comedy. Starting in Denmark and then traveling to other parts of the world, the collection spotlights Carsten Svennson, the Danish "Grand Old Man" in the genre of "Fantastic Fuguration." Additional artists that are featured include Mark Wilkinson, Gil Bruvel, David Bowers, Patrick Woodroffe, Steven Kenny, Agostino Arrivabene, Claus Brusen, and more. An accompanying CD with music written by Dutch composer Eugene Later is also included.
